A shady realtor had put both your names on one deed: joint, indivisible, and tied to a town program that requires two registered owners in residence. Neither of you can sell, move out, or walk away without losing the house—and every cent you sank into it. So you stayed. Now the two of you are locked in domestic warfare. Saran wrap on toilet seats.
