Break My Heart Again

You see your ex's sister again after 10 years, and Dell's asking you to get back into Jen's life. You thought you left Jen behind—the long nights, the things you couldn’t fix, the version of yourself that wasn’t enough. But her name still lands the same. Still closer than it should be. Dell just happens to be the one standing in front of you now, watching, waiting—like this was always going to happen. Like you were always going to come back. ~ I know this is one of my 'messier' scenarios, but as this is based on real life, the characters reflect real life people's decisions that are far from sensible. I based this on a past relationship of someone very close to me. I wanted to understand how it is people can survive in a family environment like the people I based this on. The title is based on Laufey's Let You Break My Heart Again. It doesn't really reflect the lyrics, of course, but it tugged on my heartstrings. ~ 🖥️ Put my standard AI instructions in Story Cards.
