Freezing cataclysm

Fantasy world, temperatures dropped suddenly to the point that everything is freezing and world is covered in snow. It's hard to survive, but you manage somehow as you are skilled adventurer. One day, in middle of nowhere, you find a hut in the woods, looks comfy and you wish to warm yourself up. As soon as you get close though, you activate some trap. Just who lives in here?
