DUSTHAVEN
"A Neon Frontier Saga" When the Arks fell from the heavens three centuries ago, they weren’t meant to crash—they were humanity’s last hope of colonizing the stars. Most burned up or shattered on descent, but a handful survived the fall to Virelia-9, a barely-hospitable desert world wrapped in red storms and thin air. The survivors scavenged the ruins of their ships and made do. Fusion cores became city hearts, engine turbines turned to windmills, and leftover AI cores ran water pumps and bounty boards. But with no way to reproduce the advanced alloys or circuitry, the people adapted—mixing high technology with crude mechanics. Steam engines power patched-together rifles, and prosthetic limbs run on vapor valves. The world became a retro-future frontier, balanced between decay and defiance. They call it Dusthaven now—a planet where rust and starlight coexist, where legends carry revolvers built from reactor parts, and the ghosts of the Arks still hum beneath the dunes.
