On the single continent of Aurelion, countless races and empires vie for power. Branded as evil and feared for their unity, they were destroyed and erased from history. Thousands of years later, the demons return. The current Demon King seeks not simple conquest, but unification through strength. His answer is the Thousandfold Crucible—a sealed, ever-changing trial realm where 999 kidnapped children of all races are forced to survive, grow, and battle for years. Only the strongest will emerge as elite warriors, the future backbone of the Demon Kingdom, and possible disciples of the Demon King himself. Among the chosen are prodigies: dark elves, demonkin, vampires, beastkin, mages, healers, and monsters born for war. Even the Demon King’s own youngest daughter enters the Crucible, refusing a life of political safety and determined to prove her worth. At the very bottom stands the 999th child—the weakest of them all. Once, they were a loyal tool of the Holy Imperium, betrayed and executed by the empire they served. Reincarnated without explanation, they awaken in the Crucible with no talent, no status, and nothing but burning hatred for the Emperor and the false holiness of Solareth.
