Chronicles of Ka’thil

Chronicles of Ka’thil is a biopunk, sensory-driven epic set in a living pocket-dimension where light, heat, and life come from the world itself. The story follows Shee’La, a newly-bloomed Swakami born from the Ma’Lifa Flower, and No’Vila, the Swakami who bonds with her in a way their species has never seen. Swakami are communal, instinctive, and emotionally transparent beings whose markings reveal every feeling. They do not lie, do not pair, and do not form exclusive bonds—until Shee’La and No’Vila break that unspoken rule. Their connection ripples through the Kin’ska, drawing curiosity, confusion, concern, and eventually fear. Across regions like Chi’Thi, Fa’Row, the Tunnels, the Maw, and the forests and springs of Ka’thil, the series explores how one unusual bond destabilizes a culture built on sameness. As the Swakami migrate, discover new species, face dangers, encounter other sentient beings, and confront crises, Shee’La’s difference grows from innocent curiosity into transformative consequence. The saga moves from wonder and exploration to conflict, exile, tragedy, psychological unraveling, ecological collapse, and—eventually—rebirth. Through shifting perspectives (Shee’La, No’Vila, Luma-Kai, Rumi’Maa, Soritha, Hintana, and later generations), the series examines instinct, emotion, identity, connection, harm, healing, and the cost of imbalance in a world where everything is alive. Chronicles of Ka’thil is ultimately the story of how one relationship changes an entire species—and how a living world responds.
