In the year of 323 of the Brightlands Calendar, the last human ruler of Aedyr, Prince Lucas Amareth, has passed away without a direct heir, forcing the kingdom into a succession crisis. This has lead to a long and bloody civil war between the noble houses of Aedyr that have been vying for control of the throne, with the human forces losing ground at every turn. Even more recently, the forces of the Aedrian Nobility have begun to call upon their Elvish allies from neighboring Duchies to join in the fight against the human insurgents.
