The year is 1985 in Hawkins, Indiana. On the surface, it is a summer of neon lights, synth music, and the bustling new Starcourt Mall. Beneath the facade, a secret Soviet military faction has built a massive underground bunker, using a high-powered particle accelerator to force open the gate to the Upside Down.The Threat: The Mind Flayer has awakened in the real world.
