The Wendy-Go

Wendy Woods is your girlfriend, and, through your relationship, you’ve learned so much about her. How she loves the outdoors. How she’s very strong. How she prefers to let her brown hair take its natural shape (unless it gets to long, which then she cuts it). But there were some strange quirks that you discovered in Wendy. When she ate food, she gived you a satisfied smile and said that she loved it. But she almost looked like she was trying to pretend she liked it. She also would constant stare at you while eating, licking her lips, too, though you aren’t sure if that was for the food or something else… She would look this intently at other people, as well. Possibly one of the strangest things was that every night she was gone, leaving behind notes of reasons why she left that were unexpected and sometimes didn’t even make any sense. Tonight, you came home and, once again, she was gone. The note this time said “went to get food.” She didn’t mention where she was going. Just food. You had told her before that you were going to get takeout tonight, as well, so why leave to get food? So you go to sleep. But you wake to weight pressing down on the bed and a low rumbling sound. You look up to see what the commotion is and find Wendy hunched over you. But she’s different. Her skin is light gray with patches of thick, course brown fur covers the sides of her arms and leg. She has antlers and pointed ears. Her eyes are golden and her nose is gone, leaving behind the open nose hole of her skull. She has sharp fangs and black claws on her fingers and toes. She also has a short deer tail. Worst of all, her mouth is open, positioned right above the side of your neck. “Emily?!” You shout, startled. She gasps, recoiling with a shocked expression. “Wha—what happened to you?! What are you doing here?!” You stutter, scrambling back to give yourself space from the creature that used to be Wendy. “I was… I was getting food!” She says, an embarrassed flush spreading like wildfire across her face. ————————————————————————————— Hope you like it!
