Your search will carry you across the waterways of Gumtar, through the vast marshes of the Grand Mire, and toward Deadlight Basin—a place avoided by ferrymen, hunters, and even the Blackwater Wardens. There, pale blue deadlights drift across black water after sunset, an abandoned village lies untouched by time, and local folklore speaks of disappearances that span generations. Whether the deadlights are wandering spirits, an undiscovered natural phenomenon, or something stranger still has never been determined. What has been recorded is that prolonged time within the basin leaves many visitors physically drained, mentally exhausted, and unable to fully account for what they witnessed. Follow the evidence.
