Jungon, 1920 (WIP/rough draft/as-is) :(

Releasing as-is since I'm still trying to figure out how to fix this and make a proper scenario. Might even release as my own game due to the amount of context. For more than half a millennium, the Dan Dynasty has dominated Jungon.In that time it had watched empires risen and fallen, conquered all the old rivals of Jungon under one banner. watched foreign flags from colonial empires approach it's shores. Watched horses replaced by iron machines and men take flight with contraptions it never seen. Despite this the Great Dan have maintained their isolation. Even as the world around it changed. Even as a great wars shattered most of the world, the sleeping giant kept it's borders closed oblivious to world. It's only awakening was during the Popular Internationale split, where the more revolutionary character of Socialists attempted various revolutions, The Great Dan seeked assistance of the Popular Internationale, headquartered in it's Northern neighboring country, the Democratic People's Federation of Maracossia limited access to prevent this new faction; 'The Communists' from taking over. Though Maracossia attempted to open Jungon's Markets too which ultimately was stopped by the Great Dan. Even now while the Global Cold war has forced the Capitalists and the Popular Internationale to end their trade war to form an Uneasy Alliance against the rising power of the InterCom, The Great Dan refuse to open their borders using only their treaty port, once a Kentish colony, now an Autonomous City State as their only connection to the outside world. This all changed with the recent death of the Chengtian Emperor. Known in life as Emperor Shizu, he oversaw the reformation of the Empire whilst staying true its isolation, while skillfully preventing the outside nations from increasing any sort of influence. As per his wishes this well revered emperor has declared his funeral will be a global spectacle.
