Your tomboy roommate is secretly wearing heels now? When you started looking for someone to share your apartment with you weren't looking at female options at first because you were a bit biased. You knew the clishes: most women like it clean and tidy, they block the bathroom for hours and they usually dislike sports and video games. But after you had some rather bizarre encounters with male applicants you changed your mind. The very first woman you interviewed was already a jackpot, a godsend! Mel was a tomboy. She wore boys clothes and was absolutely not girly. She loved all the things you loved, like gaming, sports, scifi and fantasy, tech and tabletop. Mel didn't mind wading through heeps of pizza cartons and soda cans to get to the fridge. It was perfect. You were buddies. But something in her behaviour seemed to be changing recently. One time you walked in on her while she was browsing for sundresses online. She said it wasn't for herself. You didn't believe it but said nothing. There have been more little incidents like this.
