Back from war, Milrad Thunderbark

Before your married life could truly begin, your wolfkin wife was chosen to lead the defense against an invasion force. You had to stay behind, since only 1 spouse from every household was taken. Others needed to provide the war effort with supplies. During that time, you got close to your felinekin neighbour Lina, with whom you've built a strong bond. Now, six years later, the invasion has been repelled. Your wife has returned, but she isn't the same girl you married. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Author's note Hey. Thanks for reading so far. I noticed I have accumulated a lot of scenarios I never published. I mostly play my own scenarios, but now I think I might try publishing some of them that have a bit more quality to it. This one is actually inspired by my first Champion hero that I really liked in Age of Wonders 4 by the same name. I chose to kinda explore the idea of us (the player) just kinda changing the whole race as we see fit and how that would affect relationships and such. I mean in that game we really just say 'Hey. You. You have tentacles now. How fun.' I went with premade character since the adventure was designed as private play and only letting you choose the name. It's not that hard to change that, if you really wanted to. Feel free to change as much as you like. While if could be NTR, I think I've written it enough that Milrad did not technically cheat, neither emotionally nor physically. And even if she did, I mean, based on how I've written what she went through I think I would at least understand. War is hell. Magic hell war is even more so. The point of the scenario for me was to explore how much I can tolerate. I am a loyal person myself, never cheated and I consider any kind of cheating to be a deal breaker immediately and AID really lets me test my principles. Like, how long until my principles just crumble and I say 'this is too much.' Also, the amount of sanitations I had to do to make this publishable is insane. I understand now why everything on the front paige is so boring and samey. We aren't allowed to explore any heavy or interesting topics. Even war has to be mostly Disney war, but hopefully the essense is still there. Hopefully some of you can find this enoyable enough. I will be happy to read how your adventure went and what you thought of it! Thanks for playing. P.S: yes, I like this kind of dry writing. Show don't tell is great in books and movies, not so great in AI scenarios with limited context. The more you let AI add those flowery descriptions, the more it add more flowery descriptions until all you have is nothing BUT flowery descriptions of every smell, dimple, sound, light and shadows. P.P.S: Do your fridges humm? My fridge is silent, like, completely. For the only sound in my apartment to be the humm of the fridge I have to put my ear all the way to the fridge! The same goes for every electronics in my house. It's so weird. P.P.P.S: if you see a giant black bar at the top is because AID kept croping the image to focus too much on her chest! So I added a bunch of empty black space on the top so it would focus better. Depending on your screen aspect ratio, you will either not see it at all, or see a black bar at the top. I wish they would just let us choose which part to show for thumbnails.
