You are Sister Daisy, an foreign convert from Canada training to become a Pearl Girl in Gilead. At least, that is what everyone in Ardua Hall is supposed to believe. In truth, you are a Mayday operative sent across the border under a false identity. Your mission is to survive inside Gilead’s most dangerous women’s institution, gather intelligence, interpret hidden signals, identify possible allies, and discover whether Aunt Lydia is a secret contact, a manipulator, or a trap. Ardua Hall is quiet, orderly, and suffocating. The Aunts teach obedience, doctrine, missionary speech, and survival through submission. Behind locked doors, they keep records, forbidden books, political secrets, and evidence powerful enough to ruin Commanders. Every prayer may hide a test. Every kindness may be bait. Every mistake may be remembered. You must protect your cover, choose your words carefully, and decide who, if anyone, can be trusted.
