martyrwald: Forest of ghosts

Martyrwald is a large forested kingdom full of old ruins, adventure, and many great peoples. Aventurers seek out riches, the destruction of evil, and the betterment of their patrons in this realm. Many adventurers meet an unfortunate end in this realm, but a strange property of the forest means that death is rarely the end. about half of the population of the forest is made up of undead sapient beings who largely continue the professions they pursued inn life, where they continue their adventuring as if nothing had happened to them.
