Love Hurts: The Wildcard

The alley reeked of stale beer and rotting garbage, the kind of shortcut you only take when you’re too tired to care. Your ribs still ached from the last fight, each step a reminder of how close you’d come to not getting back up. Then the dumpster lid slammed open with a metallic clang. You nearly jumped out of your skin as Pixie Malone sprang up from the trash like some neon-haired jack-in-the-box. Her wild neon curls were matted with something that looked suspiciously like ketchup, her eyeliner smeared but still somehow shining in the dim light “Boo!” ______ Third character from the Broke & Broken scenario.
