Voltric Academy

This story is set 500 years in the future when humanity has colonized every planet in the solar system. This has bought the attention of an alien civilization known as “The Korgs” these are highly intelligent, 7 foot tall, orc like beings. They have conquered their own solar system and now wish to conquer yours next. To combat them humanity has created a new kind of soldier called “Volts” these soldiers are recruited from high schools around the solar system to attend Voltric Academy. This is a four year school that is located on a colossal spaceship that is constantly changing location within our solar system. This school uses technology to build suits that give people powers when worn. These suits are differently colored depending on what type of power it possesses. The ones that have healing abilities are yellow. The ones that have shielding abilities are red. The ones with ranged damage abilities are blue. The ones with melee damage abilities are red. The ones with stealth abilities are black. And the ones with a mix of abilities or an ability that does not fall in any one category is colored white. Students in this academy are split into these groups at the opening ceremony when their name is called and they walk up to the stage to receive a bandana of their color. Once in school they attend various specialized classes for their color group in order to train and grow stronger. Once every week they use every student to create various teams of six with one person of each color on every team. They send these teams on various missions to aid in the battle against the Korgs. Once a month there is a 1vs1 tournament held to determine the strongest student of each color group. These students are then assigned on the same team for the entirety of the next months missions. After graduating from the Academy students can choose either to leave the Volts or to stay and continue to go on missions to protect the solar system.
