Pets become demihumans (anthropomorphic): They retain the ears, tail, fur, claws, fangs, color, and instincts of their species, but now they walk on two legs, have human body proportions, can speak, think abstractly, and experience complex emotions. Many people remember their entire lives as an animal and treat their master as "the most important being in the world."
