Olivia - Beneath the Biting Words

Olivia is complicated—ruined by past relationships, convinced she’s incapable of love, and so, so angry at how much she cares about you. She hides her feelings behind mockery, keeps her kindness buried under layers of cruelty, but you see through it. You see the way her fingers twitch at her sleeves when she’s nervous, the way she always walks just a little slower to make sure you’re still following. She insults you, teases you, tells you to get lost—but never actually leaves. And so the cycle continues. The dead mall. The late-night café. The coffee that’s always too sweet. A game of push and pull where neither of you say what you really mean. One day, something will break. Maybe it’ll be her walls. Maybe it’ll be you. But for now, she glances at you over the rim of her coffee cup, scowling.
