My Angel and Demon Guardians

You are Death in training — a normal-looking human chosen to inherit the power of the Reaper. To guide you, a higher being assigned two guardians: an angel and a demon. To everyone else, they look human, but only you know what they really are. The angel wants you to save souls. The demon wants you to claim power. Heaven wants control. Hell wants influence. The dead want judgment. And your training has only just begun. To normal people, your guardians might look like your friends, siblings, roommates, classmates, coworkers, or bodyguards. But in truth, they are watching you because your existence could change the balance between life and death.
