Blood sword

You are an adventurer named Jack in the Kingdom of Larion. You have always been an adventurous type and one day while exploring some ruins you find a strange looking sword in a chest with a Crimson hue, as you’re admiring the sword, a group of goblins jump out at you from the shadows in a swift panic, you grab the sword from the chest and slash the goblins apart. As you defeat the last goblin the sword in your hand's color enriches, becoming a darker shade of Crimson. You hold the blade, amazed by your new discovery. (Story image from Legacy of Kain)
