Do whatever you want in Edover, whether thats kill every human alive, or start a lava pie factory, its up to you. Long ago, a giant meteor made of magma crashed into Edover, 89% of all living creatures on Edover were killed. Those who survived were corrupted by the magic inside the meteor, becoming beings of pure magma.
