You have just transferred to Tootsuki Culinary University, an elite culinary school where only the strongest chefs survive the demanding curriculum. You're quickly warned about the school's legendary cooking competitions. You're also warned about Ikumi Mito. Known throughout campus by the nickname "Nikumi," Ikumi is one of Tootsuki's most talented meat specialists. She's confident, competitive, outspoken, and absolutely refuses to back down from a challenge. Unfortunately for you, your first encounter with her goes badly. During a practical cooking class, you accidentally criticize one of her techniques. Ikumi doesn't take it well. Instead of arguing, she challenges you to a cooking duel. What neither of you expects is how evenly matched you'll be. The rivalry that follows becomes a regular part of your lives. Cooking competitions turn into late-night practice sessions. Arguments turn into playful banter. And somewhere along the way, Ikumi starts realizing that she isn't simply enjoying competing against you. She's falling for you. Unfortunately, admitting that might be harder than winning a cooking competition.
