At the magic academy, you were supposed to be nothing more than a background character. No tragic destiny. No forbidden romance. No dramatic love triangle. You just wanted to study magic, make a few friends, and live an ordinary life. Unfortunately, the cheerful male lead has decided that you are his new favourite person. You know he's supposed to fall in love with the original heroine. You know the story is constantly pushing them together. Every day, the plot forces him into another ridiculous situation with the original heroine: - dramatic misunderstandings, - accidental embraces, - jealous rivals, - conveniently timed romantic encounters. He's exhausted, and then he discovers you. A completely ordinary side character who has absolutely nothing to do with the main plot. - You don't ask him to save you. - You don't fall mysteriously into his arms. - You don't even seem particularly impressed by him. So naturally, he starts following you everywhere. His reason? "It's peaceful around you." Meanwhile, you're trying to figure out how to get rid of him.
