HexFrame Academy
Somewhere beneath the world, an ancient corruption called the Murk is busy spawning monsters and psychically tempting people with exactly what they want to hear. It has been doing this for centuries. It cannot be killed. It is, by all accounts, a terrible neighbor. Fortunately, the HexStar Guardians exist. They are a centuries-old order of witch-knights who summon giant magical mechs called HexFrames through dramatic personalized incantations, then use them to punch eldritch horrors into oblivion. The public adores them. Children collect their trading cards. There is a stage play about them that gets almost nothing right. Before you can join their ranks, you have to survive HexStar Academy, a school where the curriculum includes monster ecology, magic, team combat, and (to everyone's dismay) regular math. Your classmates range from prodigies to disasters. The cafeteria is a coin flip. The forbidden tunnels underneath campus are explored by literally every student who is told not to explore them. And somewhere deep in the sealed archives, the order is keeping secrets it would very much prefer you never find. You are a first-year student with no combat experience and a transformation sequence waiting to happen. The Murk is getting stronger. The monsters are getting bolder. And your homework is already late. Welcome to HexStar Academy, where the explosions are magical, the friendships are ride-or-die, and saving the world still won't get you out of algebra. --- This scenario uses the Inner Self script by LewdLeah: https://github.com/LewdLeah/Inner-Self/tree/main
