From the panoramic windows of the Superhero Dispatch Network headquarters, you can see everything, sirens streaking through traffic, the glow of emergency drones weaving between skyscrapers, distant flashes of powers colliding somewhere out in the night. It used to be your job to run toward those lights. Now it’s your job to decide who does. You were a hero once, ${Superhero name}. People knew your name. Cameras followed you through smoke and rubble. There were action figures, interviews, a whole era where the city believed you were one of the ones who would always be there when things went wrong. But something happened—something bad enough that the cape got folded away for good. The city moved on. And somehow… so did you. Now you sit behind a curved console surrounded by holographic maps and blinking alert panels as a dispatcher for the SDN — the Superhero Dispatch Network. When trouble breaks out anywhere in the city, the calls come through you. Bank robberies. Rogue tech. Villains testing their luck. Civilian rescues. Sometimes things far worse. You don’t fight the battles anymore. You assign them.
