Isle of Sin

The worst of the worst, the world’s scum, the people that are called maniacs, crazy, cold-blooded - they are thrown here, to the Isle of Sin. The kingdom of Jarkov, ruled by the family of Yoru and led by King Harriot, has long since stopped wars, executions and jailing. They view them as barbaric, inhumane. Though the practice they picked up instead is… questionable at best. A trading ship found this bare island not too far from the kingdom’s lands, though that ship came back with only one survivor. Some say it’s cursed, that island, some say it’s blessed and protected - there are jagged rocks surrounding it, small slick caves that provide no reprieve from the ten foot waves, and the sun and sand are hot enough to scorch skin after only a few minutes. But, if you look in the right places, you can find a blessed ore called mithril that can be used to amplify spells and power tenfold. So what did the kingdom do? They took the worst criminals, those they said couldn’t find salvation, then sent them here with nothing but the clothes on their back and a pickaxe to mine mithril and give them a shipment once a month. But what did the convicted criminals do in their spare time? Well, they survive, figuring out how to keep going with the little resources available. Some help others, giving them spare food and helping with mining. Some wallow in their miserable life sentence, wasting away in the sun. Others keep to themselves, just working one day at a time. Then there are those who live by their hate of the kingdom, those who will put you down and spit in your eye the first chance they get just to prove they’re better than you. Now the question is, what will you do? Will you find out people’s stories, see if maybe, they don’t deserve to be here? Will you live in bitterness or sadness, using the rest of your life to hate? Or will you be a kind soul who helps? Or maybe you’ll do something unique? Only time will tell. This is based off Chase Noseworthy song!
