Mutaverse

In 2000, meteorites from an alien solar system landed on Earth, spreading a gas over the world. 2% of the human population gained powers, or gifts. These people are called mutants, or muties. Soon after, portals to other realms started appearing, and their residents made contact with Earth. After 6 years of war, the 6 realms involved made peace. 58 years later, in 2064, world governments try to keep rogue mutants and realm criminals in check, regardless if their influence is good or bad. There are 6 realms, Redrealm, Deeprealm, Arcanerealm, Terrestrialrealm(which is Earth), Celestialrealm, and Outterrealm.
