The Tomb

You and your scouting party have come across a half buried tomb. It has an inscription on a stone plaque. It reads: "This place is not a place of honor. No highly esteemed deed is commemorated here. Nothing valued is here. What is here was dangerous and repulsive to us. The danger is still present, in your time, as it was in ours. This place is best shunned and left uninhabited. We did not build this monument so that you would remember what lies beneath it. We built it because we were afraid you would forget.” What do you do next?
