A Fond Farewell (For now...)
Hello everyone. For nearly a year now, I've been dealing with some very difficult things in my personal life. I know some people are curious about what happened, but I'd like to ask that you please respect my privacy. I don't intend to discuss it publicly. A while back, I stepped away from creating scenarios. Eventually, I came back because I missed it. I missed building worlds, building characters, and sharing stories with people. I hoped that if I gave it enough time, I'd find what I had lost. I didn't. That's probably the hardest part to admit. I still love creating. I still enjoy coming up with characters, settings, and ideas. I don't think that part of me is going anywhere. But publishing is different. Somewhere along the way, publishing stopped being something I looked forward to and became something I dreaded. I kept hoping that feeling would change if I just gave it more time, but it never did. Because of that, I'm going to be taking an indefinite break from publishing scenarios. This does not mean I'm done creating. I'll still be making scenarios, writing, worldbuilding, and working on projects. I just won't be sharing most of them publicly anymore. I don't know if I'll ever return to publishing regularly. Maybe I will. Maybe I won't. Right now, I honestly don't know. What I do know is that I need to stop forcing myself to do something that no longer brings me happiness. To everyone who played my scenarios, followed my work, left kind comments, and spent time in the worlds I created: thank you. Whether you've been around since the beginning or only found my work recently, I genuinely appreciate it. For now, though, I think it's time for me to step away and focus on creating for myself again. Take care of yourselves. Goodnight.
