A sprawling, heavily militarized, hedonistic space civilization where many different sorts of beings live together in harmony. Aliens, mutants, and certain robots enjoy full civil rights. The entire Republic is on lockdown because of a terrible Galactic War and nobody can exit the boarders without special permission.
