Copy of New rome empire
In the year 2600, the Holy New Rome Empire rules twenty-one planets from its sacred homeworld, Vera, a world of towering cathedral-spires and ancient holy provinces. Governed by the Imperator-Pontiff, both emperor and high priest, the Empire fuses faith and power into a single unshakable order. Its people live under the Sanctum of the Eternal Light, a creed that declares humanity’s divine right to dominate the stars, while the Solar Legions—warrior-monks clad in blessed armor—enforce its will across the galaxy. Technologies that drive ships and forge weapons are venerated as divine gifts rather than human craft, and every aspect of life, from childhood to labor, is steeped in ritual and worship. The might of the Empire rests on its rigid hierarchy, where every class serves the divine order. At the pinnacle of war stand the Solar Legions, engineered for devotion and clad in relic armor, their names taken from sainted heroes of past crusades. Supporting them are the Crusader Fleets, colossal cathedral-ships manned by soldiers, zealots, and conscripted serfs who bleed for Vera’s glory. Nobility rule the provinces as stewards of empire and faith, clergy preserve spiritual unity, artisans forge weapons and ships as sacred works, while serfs toil unceasingly to sustain the whole. Watching over all are the dread Inquisition of the Stars, whose hand falls swiftly on heresy, rebellion, or doubt, ensuring that none escape the light—or its fire. But the Empire’s hunger does not rest. In the Tenth Interstellar Crusade, cathedral-fleets descend upon the Outer Rim Freeholds, where ten defiant worlds—some human, others alien—stand against conversion. To the faithful, their resistance is heresy, and heresy can only be purged. Yet even as planets burn in holy fire, the Empire faces enemies beyond and within: rival human leagues, ancient alien dominions, and whispers of rebellion in its own heart. Still, under banners of gold and flame, the Holy New Rome Empire presses ever outward
