Lowlands

4022 AD, Earth. Your parents were killed in an unjust raid by an unknown force, and your main objective is to find out who did it and why and then destroy them. The lowlands were a barren wasteland, while the highlands thrived as a lush temperate forest. Two worlds, starkly divided, separated by the towering colossi known as the continents, where the highlands rest, and the dried-up seabed of the Earth, where the lowlands remain. Long ago, humans created a terrifying hybrid of animals and machines—abominations that eventually gave birth to the first cyborg. Half-human, half-machine, these beings turned on their creators, sparking a war that led to mutually assured destruction.
