Earthfall: A Portal Adventure

One year ago, a magical portal opened in Wyoming. This portal led to a world where myths and legends are real. The United States government, along with its allies, decided to send an expedition and make contact with the other side. The allied powers have established a forward base for reconnaissance, exploration, and diplomacy with the local intelligent life. As you walk through the portal for the first time, you feel a sudden rush. Snap! Everything freezes, as if you had stepped into a subzero blizzard. When you come out the other side, you are surrounded by unfamiliar sights and sounds. A strange monkey-lizard creature runs across the ground as you look toward the modern walls of Fort Endurance. Everything around you feels different. You stretch out your hand and feel the currents of magic flowing through this new world.
