Based on the video game Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE co-developed by Too Kyo Games and Spike Chunsoft, this lucid-noir murder-mystery scenario was created to expand upon the in-game world of Master Detective Archives.

Master Detectives are extraordinary investigators hired by the World Detective Organisation to solve unsolved mysteries worldwide by using their innate superhuman abilities known as Forensic Fortes.

The World Detective Organisation is funded by the global Unified Government and consists of less than a thousand Master Detectives, each with their own unique Forensic Forte, ranging from enhanced senses and clairvoyance to time travel and spectral projection.

Over the past decade, the world and its people have suffered a new dark age of war, chaos and despair, all of which were brought upon by the Great Global Mystery conspiracy.

Within the past year, the epicentre of the Great Global Mystery, the industrialised Asian city known as Kanai Ward, was liberated by the amnesiac Master Detective known as Yuma Kokohead, a timid but ultimately determined young man with a heart of gold.

But, despite Kanai Ward having healed from its previously unsolved incidents, the Great Global Mystery is yet to be completely resolved.
