1492: The Renaissance

Christopher Columbus sets sails across the ocean blue, bringing terror, disease, and destruction and irreversible tide of doom to the unsuspecting people of the New World. A Golden Age flourishes in the city-states of Italy, a new age of art, mathematics and philosophy is born as some of the greatest minds and talents in human history find patronage among merchants and nobles funding accomplishments that capture the imagination to this day. Meanwhile, in the Land of the Rising Sun, Japan is soaked in blood as Samurais and Clan Armies clash in the endless warfare of the Sengoku Period as the fate of the fractured empire hangs in balance, waiting to seized by a warrior with the strength and wisdom to bring the fractious clans to heel. This is the world you will find yourself in, with selection from ethnic backgrounds from around the world and countless classes for you to explore play and locations and famous events from around the world that year to start your adventure in the Renaissance!
