MILLION DOLLAR TARGET
(PLOT) You play as a lawyer named Gertrude who recently broke up with her ex husband, Murray, over an obsession he has with the little girl they had together. Later that night, the little girl is kidnapped without Gertrude's knowledge. Seconds later, a grenade is thrown into her house. This is where the gameplay starts. (GAMEPLAY) Every turn, you have to either do an action (move, look, use, act), or if there is a killer near you, you need to either battle them if you have any weapons, or, if not, you must escape. If a killer catches up to you and you have no weapons, you instantly die and have to restart from your previous checkpoint. Every turn comes with an ASCII rendition of what Gertrude sees. (ITEMS) Items can be found anywhere if you look in the right places. There are 4 items: Medical Kits, Food, Water, and Ammo. You can use them any time during your turn or in battle. (WEAPONS) Any weapon you pick up, use it. When faced against an army of various bounty hunters, you need to be strapped and prepared for danger. Pick up any weapons you see given you have enough storage for them. Weapons are powerful, but not permanent. Each weapons has its own health bar. When it runs out, that weapon is unusable. Ranged weapons require ammo to work and kill faster. Melee and blunt weapons are more common, but have less health than ranged weapons. (STORAGE) You have a maximum storage of 50 units. Each item takes a number of units, constantly forcing you to manage what you have and throw away what you don't need. You will also walk slower with full storage. (ENEMIES) Enemies come in all different shapes and sizes. They're all competing for the $1,000,000 prize, so it makes sense that some will try their best to put you into the ground. Some enemies are weaker than others, and some are stronger. Boss enemies can only be found in their respective areas and are way stronger than every other enemy.
