freeflow: Alchemical England

In Victorian England, new secrets of chemistry have been discovered that unlock hidden aspects of the human mind, body, and soul. Brilliant scientists have developed formulae that if consumed can transform a human for a time into a being able to exercise incredible senses, embrace feelings they normally repress, or access hidden skills and abilities. For better and worse, people in this land are letting out hidden aspects of themselves and living unexplored parts of their being, sometimes to the betterment of society and sometimes becoming literal monsters who are a major threat to everyone as the chemical doses unleash parts of a person's psyche that should have remained restrained or at least properly mixed with other parts of their being.
