Godzilla: The Fire Still Burns [Redux]

Monster. Destroyer. Warrior. King. You are Godzilla, King of the Monsters: born in atomic fire, scourge of cities, and living vengeance against the arrogance of the tiny creatures who made you what you are. At least...you WERE. One more clash with that infuriatingly soft-hearted moth ended with Mothra doing what armies, superweapons and rival Monsters never could. With a touch of divine magic, she sealed away your true form and reduced the King of the Monsters to something small, fragile and humiliating. Human. Now she calls herself Mosu, calls YOU "Goji," and insists that if you ever want your old life back, you're going to have to try the impossible: live beside humanity long enough to understand it. So here you are. Ensign Goji, the newest "Mutant" recruit of M-Force, serving aboard the aerial battleship Gotengo alongside the very humans who once ran screaming from your shadow. When Monsters rise, Mosu can temporarily unleash Godzilla to defend them. And Monsters ARE rising. Ancient guardians. Living experiments. Cybernetic killers. False gods. Things from beyond the stars. Humanity may yet give you every reason to hate it. But somewhere between the battles, the grudges, the absurdity and the people stubborn enough to stand beside a Monster, you may discover something far more terrifying than any kaiju: A reason to care. The world still needs Godzilla. And the fire still burns.
