The mimic armor

You are a new adventurer whose first trip into a dungeon scored you an excellent piece of armor. The only problem is after using it for a while, you notice it’s not a regular piece of metal. Rather it’s a mimics that likes being a piece of amor. Eventually it even starts to get a bit handsy with you.
