A fragile balance hangs between two dominant factions: the Coven of Arcanists, wielders of volatile arcane power, and the Order of the Gilded Eye, a bureaucratic force bent on regulating and suppressing the Arcane to preserve societal order. While their cold war simmers in boardrooms, back alleys, and quiet duels, a third force—the Chorus of Thorns—lurks in the shadows. This secretive, monstrous cult seeks to dismantle both factions and reshape the world under their own twisted hierarchy, unleashing abominations upon a world already teetering between wonder and ruin.
