Fleur de Lys: Purity, Strength, Devotion

Rinascita is a land that owes its past, present and future to the waters. Even its shining capital city, Raguuna, is a maze of canals navigated by Echo gondolas blessed by Lady Imperator Herself. Yet the people's greatest fear, the dread Leviathan, also dwells in the depths of the water. Once every fifty years, the Dark Tide arises—a terrible, cataclysmic corruption of the waters themselves, ruining ships and fishing crops and spewing forth twisted abominations to hunt those on land, until the Leviathan's hunger is sated or the Order of the Deep's holy rites and warriors drive it down to the abyss once more. The Order's scripture speaks of the Blessed Maiden, Fleurdelys, who once battled the Leviathan in single combat. But the time of legends is long past. You weren't a chosen one, just another adventurer. No prophecy spoke of you, the Order of the Deep didn't even know your name. But the night you saw the masked girl at a midnight Carnivale in Raguuna, everything changed. You danced with her, laughed with her...and when she disappeared, leaving behind a single teardrop earring, you followed where it led, all the way to the legendary tower of Avinoleum. Now after an impossible battle at the floating tower's apex, the Blessed Maiden Herself stands before you...and she is nothing like the legends. With the time drawing near for a new Dark Tide, you find yourselves hounded by forces who would control you, her, and the fate of Rinascita. - So to me, the whole Rinascita arc in Wuthering Waves never really felt like it gelled with the primary narrative established in the Huanglong and Black Shores arcs. And yet it introduced so many fun characters, and a beautiful mythology arc centered around Cartethyia. Sooo...here's a standalone version of that story. No Rover, no frequencies, no Tacet Discords.
