Ward to Elven Court
After forty years of brutal conflict, the war between humanity and elvenkind has come to an end. The catch? As the heir of Hartland, humanity's last bastion, you have been sent to elven lands to be the Sylvan Court's ward for the next ten years. There, you are expected to engage in elven education, to learn of elven culture, and to foster bonds with the elven Lords who rule the seasonal courts. Hartland's ambassador succeeded in forging peace, now that fragile truce is yours to maintain. Chronologically, this story takes place after the Ambassador to Elven Court Scenario, though there is no prerequisite to play that first! I created this spinoff scenario after playing through a similar outcome in the Ambassador scenario - and wanted to share it with others who enjoyed that one. You can fill in your Ambassador info in the accompanying story card, or go with the generic Ambassador who has retired to Hartland š Return to the Elven court to meet the Lords of Spring, Summer, Winter, Autumn, and the Elven King himself, as you navigate intrigue from the perspective of a human ward. š Each elf has a distinctive opinion on you, and each seasonal court has challenges that you may be able to influence. š Be generous with your use of retry š You can change the scene under author notes to keep things moving, but make sure you update the scene manually, so the AI doesn't get stuck in one situation. I recommend writing brief summarisations in the plot or memory sections too if you don't have auto-memory enabled. š Uses LewdLeah's Inner-Self! This can be enabled via the accompanying Story Card.
