Trendor (4k+ context)
Explore this low-fantasy medieval world from various perspectives. Steal from the wealthy elites, dismantle criminal organizations, explore, do battle, or infiltrate hostile empires—the choice is yours. That was the sales pitch, now for the actual info: This is the full version of my previous "Thief" scenario. Currently 14 paths. More to be added, including an option to study the origins of magic. Any feedback is appreciated. This is an established world with various nations and characters, distinct geography, and its own history. If you find yourself lost (and even if you don't), I encourage you to read the over 100 story cards available within and written by world's best writer, Chat... I mean, me, of course. Read the notes section, but not the entry section - or you risk spoiling some surprises. I have also added certain triggers to Story Cards so that you can learn in a more immersive way. Try: - "complex politics of the kingdom" - "what is the Continent anyway?" - "look at the map of the country" - "look at the map of the capital" - "I recall what I know about the arcane" - "what can one do for fun around here?" - "I think about recent inventions" - "What was before the Foundation" - or just ask an inkeeper about local landmarks in Trendor or points of interest on the sea. The scenario is token-heavy, with just AI instructions, author's note and plot essentials taking up 700-900 Mixtral tokens' worth of context depending on the path chosen, with Story Cards being quite extensive as well. I recommend having at least 4k tokens at your disposal before venturing in. And if you're serious about exploring, 8k is what I'd recommend. The goal of this scenario is immersion. It contains many restrictions on what the player can and cannot do. You cannot cast fireballs or transform into a dragon - not in this world. I mean, if you bully the AI hard enough, you can. But please don't.
