[ Part of the 'Stray' Series ] The road is long, dark, and lonely. Or at least, you thought it was. You are a driver on a long-haul trip through the middle of nowhere. But after hearing strange noises from the back of your vehicle, you pull over to investigate. You find her hiding in the cargo. A terrified young woman who slipped on board at the last stop, desperate to put miles between her and her past. She is a stowaway with no ticket, no plan, and a secret she's terrified to share. You are miles from the nearest town. You can toss her out into the cold night, or you can shut the door, get back in the driver's seat, and help her get away. A road trip story about trust, secrets, and the miles between who we were and who we want to be. This scenario was made during a challenging time for me.
