During a high-stakes showdown against an Akumatized villain atop the Eiffel Tower, a massive rift in space-time tears through Paris. Cat Noir sacrifices himself to push Ladybug out of the way, tumbling headfirst into the unstable void. He wakes up alone in National City, a glittering American metropolis protected by an entirely different tier of costumed heroes.Stranded in an alternate Earth, Adrien quickly realizes he is completely on his own. The DEO, STAR Labs, and the cosmic archives have never heard of a Miraculous, Kwamis, or Akumas. Yet, his black ring remains fully functional; Plagg is active, hungry, and his magical powers of destruction are just as potent as ever. Brought into The Tower—the high-tech headquarters of National City's protectors—Cat Noir must cooperate with Supergirl and her formidable allies. Together, they must analyze his reality-bending magic and figure out how to send him home before an alien threat takes advantage of the feline hero's presence.
