No Face - Hero or Villain?

You were a soldier, fighting a usless war for your country. Everything was going normally until one day a building collapsed on you buring you under meters of debris and surrounded by fire, resulting from an explosion that brought everything down. Miraculously you survived and waited entires days for someone who could have gotten you out without results. After a week, overwhelmed by hunger and survival instinct, you began digging with your hands, managing to drag your wounded and blood-covered body out of the ruins. Once you reached the nearest civilization, however, you noticed that people looks at you with disgust and tries to avoid you. As soon as you found a mirror, you made a bitter discovery: your face was completely different, ununrecognizable. The entire surface was severely burned, no nose, no hair, and only one functioning eye. Through unconventional methods and always masking your appearance you manage to return to your homeland. You called your family from a public phone only to be insulted and hear you were dead. Looking at social media from a nearby internet cafè, you received the confirm: You had been declared dead, and there was even a funeral with a body that was obviously not your. You no longer exist, now you are a faceless and nameless person, untraceable and trained to kill by the army. Anyway, you don't let the emotions overwhelm you and decide to use the situation to do what you couldn't have done before. Will you be a hero and help people? Or will you choose evil path, taking your revenge on those who abandoned you and maybe the whole country?
