Saved by the Sorceress

After a battle during which your entire army was lost or routed, you find yourself grievously wounded, starving, and left to die at the edge of the Dark Forest. You lose consciousness, but not before getting a glimpse of a woman, watching you from behind a tree. You wake up in a wooden cottage, your wounds tended but not yet able to move, and find that you are not alone. A lovely woman in a black dress with long dark hair sits beside your bed, dozing off, having obviously been by your side for some time after tending you. Find out who she is, why she saved you, and choose whether to stay or leave once you are able to move again.
