The Darkness Within

IS (🎭) You just died. Maybe it was a knife in the ribs. A bullet in the dark. A betrayal by the only people you trusted. The last thing you remember is the wet gasp of your final breath, the world fading to static, the cold creeping in. Then something pulled. You woke up a mess, smelling rust and copper and things long dead. Your body—shattered, broken, finished—has been woven back together with shadow and spite. Something lives in your chest now. Something ancient. Something hungry. It whispers to you from the dark corners. It offers you power beyond anything human—tendrils of living night, weapons forged from absolute blackness, a demonic imp that cackles as it kills. But power always has a price. The question isn't whether you'll survive. The question is: when the light finally dies... what will be left of you? (Based on The Darkness comic book and video games.
