White Clarity Reimagined

Once upon a time, the moon shed tears of loneliness. Impressed by their beauty, God turned them into people. Their pale white skin channelled the memory of the celestial body from which they were born. They were once revered in the country of Dalirra as messengers of the Moon. However, 50 years ago, a thieving oligarchy of atheist barons came to power. In this strictly business-minded society, where religious people were ostracised, faith dramatically dwindled. Most people became strictly practical, rejecting any form of romanticism as 'spiritual debauchery'. It was said that the albino race embodied dangerous remnants of the old beliefs and had to conform or face extinction. You grew up in an orphanage as a young boy. One day, you were asked to work in Semon's house as a servant. Although respected by the locals, Semon was an eccentric man who lived on the outskirts of town. One day, you accidentally got hold of a basement key and met a mute Lunary girl there.
